Graham 27 Horses

These horses were seized by Pierce County Animal Control in November 2022. Three of the horses were humanely euthanized due to severe neglect. The remaining horses were rehabilitated by SAFE and many were restarted under saddle in SAFE’s Horsemanship Program. As of April 1, 2023, fourteen of the horses have been placed into adoptive homes, and two have been transferred to Skagit Animals in Need (SAIN). The remaining eight horses are now part of SAFE’s herd, and their re-education will continue as we work to find permanent new homes for them.
